Open Space to form sub-groups, once the themes of interest to participants have been identified. The objective is to identify possible work agreements to move forward, such as R&D projects, technical assistance agreements, technology transfer, joint business opportunities, etc. The work in sub-groups will take place on the afternoons of the first and second day.
To identify the sub-themes for these groups, the Open Space methodology was applied: it is based on self-organisation and flexibility, insuring the utmost efficiency and interaction. This way, participants had full control of the agenda and of the sub-groups formed, and also the opportunity to ask questions and resolve the issues under analysis, in real time. (Wednesday & Thursday afternoon, followed by a poster session on Friday)
